Alan’s Bond fascination began with a plastic frogman in the Thunderball board game, leading to his first big-screen Bond experience with On Her Majesty’s Secret Service. His passion grew into authorship, writing James Bond: The History of the Illustrated 007 and co-authoring The James Bond Lexicon with his wife, Gill.
Frieda Toth
Born and raised in gorgeous Northern New York State, Frieda Toth's 007 journey began when she was reading a Bond novel and realized it took place mere feet from where she sat reading it.
George Martin
IFF Board Member George Martin—not to be confused with the former Beatles producer who composed the score for Live and Let Die—first became aware of James Bond when he heard the Goldfinger theme playing on an AM radio station.

Colin Clark’s first awareness of James Bond came when he saw a 007 film on the ABC Sunday Night Movie when he was ten years old.
Brad Frank
Brad Frank was born in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1962, one month before the release of Dr. No in the U.K., and not far from where the film would have its first American showings at drive-in theatres across the Midwest in May 1963.
Anders Frejdh
Anders Frejdh manages James Bond actor George Lazenby and other franchise alumni. He also runs From Sweden with Love, one of the world’s most comprehensive unofficial Bond sites. Anders has worked consistently with the 007 cinematic and literary copyright holders for nearly two decades providing talent and insight for events, broadcasters and the global Bond Community.
Whitney Gates
Whitney is a lifelong Ian Fleming and James Bond fan, introduced to the world of 007 by his mother, Roberta. President of Gates, Inc. in Bloomington, Indiana, he brings over 25 years of involvement with the Ian Fleming Foundation and a strong commitment to service through past roles on local nonprofit boards.
Len Johnson
Len’s lifelong James Bond connection began in 1973 when he saw Live and Let Die. After careers as a bricklayer and stonemason, followed by 21 years as a firefighter and paramedic, Len now combines his passion for aviation and aerospace with his work restoring Bond vehicles at Ian Fleming Foundation volunteer weekends.
Chris MacGregor
Chris MacGregor is a product design and user experience executive with more than twenty-five years of experience leading digital transformation initiatives, building high-performing design organizations, and creating intuitive experiences that connect customer needs with business outcomes. Chris's passion for James Bond began at the age of eight when his father took him to see Moonraker in theaters.
Julian Parrott
Julian Parrott, a lifelong Bond fan and retired higher education administrator, used James Bond films and Ian Fleming’s novels to explore social change in university courses on geopolitics, class, race, sex, and gender. Now a thriller novelist, he continues to draw inspiration from Fleming and plans to return to Bond-related research after completing his third book.
Larry Potash
Larry Potash, news anchor for WGN-TV Chicago’s Morning News, has reported on Ian Fleming and James Bond for over 30 years. As Executive Producer of Backstory, he is passionate about preserving cultural history and hopes to use Bond exhibits like 007 Science to inspire public engagement with literature, science, and global affairs.

Andrew Lycett
Andrew Lycett, a former foreign correspondent, delved into Ian Fleming’s life in the 1990s, writing the acclaimed Ian Fleming biography (1995). He has since authored biographies of other literary figures, exploring how Fleming's influence remains central to 007's enduring success.
Gary Rosenfeld
Gary Rosenfeld is a retired technology and media specialist based in Bedford, New Hampshire, with a background in Apple, photography and audiovisual communications. With extensive knowledge of Aston Martin history, Gary continues to support the Ian Fleming Foundation as a mentor and administrator of its social media platforms.
Perrin Spychala
Perrin Spychala’s passion for James Bond began with books like The James Bond Films and The James Bond Bedside Companion, inspiring a love of filmmaking and screen-used props. For nearly 30 years, he’s helped the Ian Fleming Foundation restore iconic Bond vehicles—like the Moonraker boat—so they can be enjoyed by fans worldwide.
George Zielke
George Zielke has been a lifelong Bond enthusiast and relative newbie to the IFF. During this short tenure with the Foundation he has assisted in vehicle relocations, vehicle preparation and logistics for exhibits and restoration work.
