An Exclusive Invitation from The Ian Fleming Foundation and Blue Oval Car Barn

To 10 Patrons of History, Heritage, and Horsepower

You are invited to take part in an extraordinary opportunity: the preservation and restoration of one of the most iconic Mustangs of all time...

The Red 1971 Ford Mustang Mach 1 featured in the James Bond classic “Diamonds Are Forever.”

This legendary car, immortalized on screen as it sped through the streets of Las Vegas, is a cultural touchstone in the Jams Bond films. Restoring it to its original glory will ensure that future generations can see, hear, and feel the thrill of this cinematic and automotive masterpiece.

The Blue Oval Car Barn (www.1971Mustangs.com) in partnership with the Ian Fleming Foundation (IFF), are seeking 10 distinguished patrons to be part of this historic effort.  As one of these select few, you will:

  • Preserve Automotive and Film History – ensuring this Bond Mustang lives on as a symbol of both Hollywood and Detroit innovation.
  • Be Recognized as a Founding Patron – your name will forever be linked with the car’s restoration and legacy. Recognition will be given on the IFF website (www.ianflemingfoundation.org) and each time the car is shown or displayed.
  • Enjoy Exclusive Access – receive private updates, behind-the-scenes restoration experiences, and a front-row seat to the red-carpet unveiling at the Muscle Car Nationals. The Mach 1 will also be made available for your private events.
  • Support Legacy and Education – gain a front-row seat to the production of a series of video’s chronicling the restoration, serving as both a historical record and an educational tool for generations to come.
  • Own a Piece of the Legend – each patron will receive an 18” commemorative trophy created from original parts of the car itself.

We have ten patron opportunities at $25,000 each, with a total restoration and display budget of $250,000. Of these, two have already been reserved.*

This is more than a restoration—it is a resurrection of a legend.

Join us. Be one of the 10.
Together, The Ian Fleming Foundation and Blue Oval Car Barn will return the Diamonds Are Forever Mustang to its rightful place in history, shining once again for the world to see.
