Join John Cork as he takes listeners and viewers on a globe-trotting journey to uncover the amazing stories behind the James Bond adventures, and the remarkable life of Bond’s creator, Ian Fleming. Secrets will be revealed—from the real-life inspiration behind Bond’s greatest villains to the novel that Ian Fleming never read that helped inspire one of the original 007 adventures.
The Secret World of James Bond will look at the world that inspired Fleming, see how that world has changed, and how a fictional spy influenced literature, popular culture, and global politics.
The project will feature not only audio episodes, but videos hosted on YouTube and posts on Instagram.

Host John Cork produced much of the “special features” content for the Home Entertainment releases of the Bond films from Dr. No through Casino Royale (2006). He has co-authored three books on the Bond phenomenon (James Bond, The Legacy with Bruce Scivally, Bond Girls Are Forever with Maryam d’Abo, and The James Bond Encyclopedia with Collin Stutz). He wrote introductions for the Vintage Press hardback releases of Ian Fleming’s original Casino Royale, Live and Let Die, and Goldfinger. He formerly edited Goldeneye Magazine for the Ian Fleming Foundation.
